Discourses is optimized for financial text including news articles and social media posts. The model works best with English financial content.
How is this different from generic sentiment analysis?
The Discourses Model is built on academic methodology from Paolucci et al. 2024. It uses financial domain-specific lexicons calibrated for the nuances of financial language that generic NLP models miss.
What's included in batch analysis?
Batch analysis allows you to analyze multiple texts in a single API call. Builder tier supports up to 10 texts per batch, while Professional supports up to 100 texts. Ideal for processing large volumes efficiently.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes! You can change your plan anytime. When upgrading, you'll be charged for the full month of the new plan. When cancelling, your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period and will not renew.
What happens if I exceed my request limit?
API requests beyond your daily limit will receive a 429 response. We'll notify you at 80% and 100% of your limit. Consider upgrading if you consistently hit your limits.
