I feel dumber every day because of AI lmao.Don’t get me wrong, AI is insanely useful for coding. I genuinely love programming. I’ve been coding since I was like 15. I used to make Minecraft mods, mess around hacking the vending machines at school, build random stuff for fun… I was obsessed with figuring things out myself. Now it feels different. Most of the time I just use my knowledge to guide the AI instead of writing everything from scratch. And honestly? It makes me lazy sometimes. Not because coding became boring, but because there are suddenly 1000 more interesting things you can build when AI handles the tedious parts.The best combo right now is knowing how to code and knowing how to use AI properly. That’s basically a superpower. Still… I kinda miss the old days of spending hours buried in Python and Java docs trying to understand why my code was breaking. Good old days. Back when I felt kinda smart 😭
