I read an pretty interesting article, its called "Backtesting Data Quality: Can Your Data Provider Be Trusted?" by concretum group. Its about how a strategy's backtest and live results completely change with different data.  A lot of people underestimate how important the usage of the right data is. Also this might be a good video idea quantguild . This article can be an wake up call. I am unable to share the link. I think you guys can find it with the title.

A great idea. I've long talked about the combinatorics problem that is assessing optimal backtesting entries. Thanks for the post!

I will post a patch shortly that will allow links in new posts after I finish the filter for bots/NSFW content
